”ÅTTA MÄSTARE” AT LANDSKRONA KONSTHALL

The show ”8 Masters of Latin American Art” from The Olsson Art Collection has now premiered at the Landskrona Konsthall in Sweden. Lots of people and good ”stimmung” for the opening – a very good start. The show will be up and running until August 13th.

We decided to show 8 of our Artists in a retrospective view to emphasize the width of the Collection and its Artists. However, we also wanted to show that it is a living Collection by also showing some of the newest acquisitions. We included Raul Farco’s drawings, most of them brand new and connected to his current construction project in Buenos Aires. Also included in the show is Henry Mujica’s latest paintings after his move from Venezuela to Madrid showcasing the Spaniard lifestyle.

We also decided to show and point at the diversity of our Artists manifested by including sculptures of different kinds, from the terrific silver sculptures by Raul Conti and Raul Farco to the small but very interesting mixed media book sculptures by Gladys Triana. Fabio Herrera’s tree trunk sculpture ”The Collectors”, made when he was visiting us in Sweden a couple of years ago, is always fun to show!
