Biography

Raul Farco was born 1953 in Corrientes, Argentina and since 1973 he has developed his Artistic career in several countries and 4 different continents where he has lived and worked for 40 years, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lanzarote, New York, Carrara, Madrid and Mexico. He currently resides in New York and Buenos Aires. His works are in the collections of Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires, Queens Museum in New York, Museo El Barrio in New York, Museum of the University of Texas, USA, La Caixa, Barcelona, Spain and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lanzarote, Spain. From 2010-2013, two public places; one in Recoleta, Buenos Aires, “En la Piel del Otro”, 20 sculptures cast in steel, iron and aluminum and “SKINS” 10 sculptures at Pier 66 by the Chelsea Piers in New York. His first Architecture Sculptural Project, a 10 stories building, is scheduled to be completed by middle 2015, in Buenos Aires.
